I regretted it almost immediately

The second we decided what his name was, we told everyone. I regretted it almost immediately. Suddenly, everyone had an opinion. They weren’t always so nice. I would suggest that you keep the baby names to yourself.

I did a little extra work

Of course I think moms should get push presents. My husband is not buying it. He’s like, “This new life is our gift.” But I did a little extra work. I’m owed three push presents and I’m not giving up this fight. I will be 80 and still bringing up the push presents, or lack thereof.

I think Jimmy Fallon would make a great nanny

Right off the top of my head, I think Jimmy Fallon would make a great nanny. He seems to be a good time. However, I’m not sure he would be super responsible. Ryan Seacrest may be a little more responsible. He is also fun, but maybe not fun enough.

Baking a birthday pumpkin pie

One of my favorite fall traditions is baking a birthday pumpkin pie for my husband. My husband’s birthday is in the fall and he doesn’t like cake, so every year he wants a pumpkin pie. He always loves it and he always makes a big fuss that it’s the thing he looks forward to each fall.

It’s a very fiery topic

People are so judgmental about breastfeeding. It’s a very fiery topic. It has to be something personal for you. It has to be where you want to feel that connection, where you feel it’s the healthiest thing, and where it’s going to be emotionally good for you. You don’t want to resent breastfeeding, but you also want to give it time and be patient. You do it as long as you feel comfortable.
