I have two pieces of advice for people who want to avoid weight gain during the holidays. The first is to shop as much as possible. Nothing battles the bulge like increased activity and it’s a great excuse to pick up some pretty things for yourself. My second tip is to just accept that it’s going to happen, cover it up with sweaters and jackets, and commit yourself to joining a gym in January like we do every year.
