Does society's/the media's ideal body image affect the way you see yourself?

what's yours?
What’s inside is more important!

I wish I could say I was above what society and the media says and shows about what women’s bodies should look like, but truthfully, it sometimes does affect me.  I’ve started not looking at magazines as much so that I’m not able to compare anymore.  But, even though I still have my struggles, I make an effort daily to remind myself of what is really most important.  And that’s this: I don’t love people because of how they look.  I love people because of who they are on the inside….and that is what I strive for more than anything.  To be someone who has worked hard to be beautiful on the inside.
