How do you deal with picky eaters?

I don’t push picky eaters…

In my house, picky eaters are locked in a closet with whatever food it is they’re refusing to try. With every bite they take, the closet door opens 1 inch. The children can squeeze out of the closet typically after they’ve eaten at least 18 bites and the closet door opens 18 inches. I’m hoping by the time they’re teenagers they’ll understand that mother knows best when it comes to their taste buds and we can avoid the closet altogether! Okay, the truth is I don’t push picky eaters at all. It only makes the problem worse. I beg them to take just ONE bite of the offensive food and if they don’t like it, I don’t push.
