Grocery shopping is the bane of my existence. It’s also necessary. Since I do the majority of the cooking, I must also do the majority of the shopping. Regardless of what’s on the list, my husband will come home with corndogs and bleu cheese dressing (eww!) and nothing on the list. If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself, once a week.

My favourite line “I bring Taylor in my heart” ha ha, Summer you are so funny. I agree grocery shopping and children do not mix, after finally working that out we now do our weekly grocery shop by internet and have it delivered.
Ok, Lavina…you are genius! Grocery internet shopping?!? Brilliant.
Love this!!! I feel ya Summer, I HATE grocery shopping soooooo much!! It is a process and one that I can not stand. Unfortunately, like you, I have to go once a week which makes me very unhappy. Oh and I never took my kids with me, I always did my grocery shopping late night after the kids were in bed and when nobody else was shopping. It was actually quite peaceful during those times which made it a tad more tolerable….just a tad…..
Leah, of course we would feel the same about this. Of course. =) And once I get my energy back, I am so going late at night. Or ordering them online… haha
Ah now I go grocery shopping once a week -with my husband and kiddies in tow! Food shopping is a major family event in the Mammasaurus household! My 3 yr old is quite a fussy eater so I have to really get her involved with food from choosing the onions to cooking the meals!
And nope Papasaurus isn’t the long suffering hen-pecked sort – he just likes to keep an eye on me and my frivolous spending
Children bombing up and down aisles I can take – it’s the old folk that insist on fingering every apple before finally choosing the one for them that gets me!
Oh my gosh!!! I about fell on the floor laughing when I watched this! I loathe loathe loathe grocery shopping with any member of my family with me! If I go alone I stick to the list get what I need and leave. If my husband is with me we end up spending $40 more because of random crap he just has to have! Oh and I love my sweet kids but something happens to them once inside a grocery store, its meltdown central or ” I hate the world and its your fault” attitude! My kids are 7 and 4 and they know better but just don’t always act better! So no kids to the store with me going on 2 years now and I have to say it has improved not only my grocery shopping experience by my attitude towards the grocery store!
