How young is too young to talk to your kids about drinking?

what's yours?
My parents were really great models for me

I think that the first time they notice that you’re drinking something that is different, that’s the perfect time to have a conversation with them. At around age 6, let them know that it’s an adult drink that you’re drinking, and not water or lemonade. And when they are older and spending time away from home, it’s even more important. My parents were really great models for me — they wouldn’t lecture me.
