Last year we were actually given the chance to have the ultimate family winter getaway.  Some friends had extra time to use at their timeshare up in Lake Tahoe and offered it to us at no cost.  We were so excited!  We quickly loaded up our car with all things snow related and headed on up.  It was amazing.  The timeshare was at the foot of a ski resort, we had a massive hot tub/bathtub in our room, and we went sledding every single day.  It was so fun and we most definitely bonded spending all that time together. 
Everything was lovely and dandy until we headed home…and we then we definitely went out with a bang. 
Literally. 
And so this year?  I’ve decided to take a new approach on The Ultimate Winter Family Getaway.
